Information regarding rules, behavior and descriptions in Kildeskovshallens indoor pool.

25m pool

Our indoor pool facility consist following

50-meter pool with 6 lanes

Area: 50 x 12,5 m.
Depths: At the pool ends 2.00 m and at the raising / lowering bridge 1.20 m
Pool volumen: 1133 m³
Max. Capacity: 140 persons
Temperatur: 26◦C

There are minimum 2 lanes reserved for the public with wave breaking ropes between the lanes to ensure the best possible swimming conditions. Plates and belts are available. Training snorkel is allowed in this pool.


25-meter pool with 6 lanes

Area: 25 m x 12.5 m.
Depths: Low end 0.95 m and deep end 1.90 m.
Pool volume: 440 m³
Max. Capacity: 70 persons
Temperature: 28◦C

There a minimum 2 lanes reserved for the public. To ensure enough space between the lanes there is no rope. Toys, plates, belts, foam dumbbells and wings are available 

Spring pool with springboard, slide and larger toys

Spring pool with 2x1m-, 3m- og 5m Spring board
Area: 12,5 m x 12 m.
Depths: Low end 2 m. and deep end 3,80 m.
Pool volumen: 520 m³
Max. Capacity: 33 persons
Temperatur: 26◦C

The springboards/ roller coaster / toys open and closes according to the request of the audience.

Children's pool

Area: 14 m x 7 m.
Depths: The whole pool 0,85 m.
Pool volumen: 85 m³
Max. Capacity: 35 persons
Temperatur: 30◦C 

Possibility of divide into two sections, one part reserved for teaching. The pool opens at 12:00 on weekdays (during school holidays at 10am). Closes at 20:00 on weekdays (during the summer period at 18:00). A roller coaster, toys, belts and wings are available.

Baby Pool

Area: Deep part 8,75 m x 5 m. Lower part 8,75 m x 2,25 m.
Depths: Deep part 1,15 m and lower part 0,08 m to 0,35 m 
Pool volumen: 70 m³
Max. Capacity: 28 persons
Temperatur: 33◦C

BE AWEAR OF THE YELLOW SIGN: 

During peak periods, primarily afternoons, weekends and holidays, do following person only has access to the pool: children up to 3 years old (with parents and siblings), disabled (with helper), pensioners (weekdays only) and clients referred from Kildeskovshallen physiotherapy (weekdays only) . We will abide by the rules even if there is space in the baby pool.
To minimize the risk of the pool being closed due either contamination, diaper children must use diaper-swimming pants with a membrane without diaper or swimming pants without a membrane with a swimming diaper underneath. Toys, belts and wings are available.

Saunas and, cold water pools in the changing rooms (Closed because of COVID-19)

There will in the men's and women's saunas on Monday and Wednesday evenings in the period 20:00-22:00, be used fragrance oils that are invigorating, relaxing or balancing.

Outdoor wading trench (closed)

At entrance C (towards the railway) there is a stroller ramp which can be used by parents who have a stroller.
At Kildeskovshallen smoking is not allowed. 

Kildeskovshallen take no responsibility for any lost value items during the stay.

Persons who do not comply with staff instructions will be expelled
 

Rules of Conduct in Kildeskovshallens Indoor pool

In general:

  • Kildeskovshallen is a smoke free area.
  • Persons that are affected by euphoric drugs or alcohol do not have access to the swimming pool or changing rooms. 
  • Persons suffering from infectious diseases of any kind do not have access to the swimming pool or changing facilities 
  • Setting up posters and a like is permitted only with the prior permission of the management.
  • No shoes are allowed in the shower room and swimming pool. Guests who wish to access must wear overcoats, flip-flops or indoor shoes.
  • We recommend good and respectful tone in all dialogue with staff and other guests. Provocations or other unacceptable behavior may result in expulsion.

Changing room:

  • The use of mobile phones, PCs and tablets is not allowed in changing rooms and showers
  • Children and babies must use the children's ward; common rooms A, B and C in the men's ward and common rooms D, E and F in the ladies' ward.
  • Children are not allowed in the adult ward. Adults without children do not have access to the children's ward.
  • Boys may use the girls department and girls may use the boys department up to the age of 6 years old.
  • Thoroughly washing of hair and body without swimsuits, before access to the swimming pool and cold-water pool. Bath and shower cap can be used instead of hair wash, then keep the cap on in the pools.
  • For hygienic reasons, sit on towel in sauna.

Indoor pool:

  • Access to the indoor pools is only possible with a valid ticket or card.
  • The lifeguards are watching! Bathing is still at your own risk.
  • Thoroughly washing of hair and body without swimsuits, before access to the swimming pool and cold-water pool. Bath and shower cap can be used instead of hair wash, then keep the cap on in the pools.
  • Children under the age of 10 must be constantly supervised by an adult (16 years +) when they enter the pool.
  • The instructions for use of the pools, is illustrated on various signs, it must be respected.
  • Chewing gum is not allowed in the pools.
  • Underwater swimming and diving in the spring pool are permitted by prior arrangement with the lifeguard.
  • Special diving can only be done under club direction.
  • For the sake of safety in the pool, please note that it is not allowed
    - to contaminate the pools and associated areas
    - to jump with your head first in low pools
    - to run, to push, or to keep others underwater
    - to bring inappropriate objects to a swimming pool
  • Balls and monofins may only be used for teaching purposes
  • Snorkelling may only be used for swimming in the 50 m pool
  • The use of a photo or video camera is only permitted with the permission of the lifeguard
